The expert committees of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, several years ago began to be acquainted with the characteristics of more fighter jets - Rafale, F-16, Eurofighter Typhoon, MiG-29M/M2, Su-30 and JF-17.
The latest information was that by the end of 2013, in Batajnica will landed six new MiG-29M / M2.
However, the newest information shows that the new multi-purpose fighter aircraft will not be procured soon, therefore, nine MiG-21's will go to repair.
