India purchase combat aircraft

Soap with the purchase of multipurpose combat aircraft Rafale by India, continues. After the collapse of negotiations for the purchase and licensed production of 126 aircraft, India is now generally agreed to buy 36 aircraft directly from the manufacturer with direct intergovernmental negotiations to fill the void of this type of aircraft in their ranks.
But, as the Indian media say, even this reduced treaty is brought into question because of cost and misunderstanding about transfers of technology. French manufacturer Dassault Aviation doubled the price of the aircraft in relation to the one initially offered.
Rafale was selected following a tender launched in 2007 as the best bid, where in the final he defeated European EF-2000. This later turned out to be not true.
Indians also require complete technology transfers, production in domestic factories, as well as guarantee by the French for quality of aircraft manufactured in India, that the French do not accept.
As in Egypt, stating that it was finally signed a contract for 24 aircraft. French announced several smaller sales and Qatar, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
